Guangzhou and Yiwu → Tashkent: how the route works
This page answers one question: how a truck travels from our warehouses in China — Guangzhou and Yiwu — to Tashkent, and where exactly the time goes. Understanding the route makes transit planning realistic.
Distance and the wider picture
Guangzhou sits in southern China, Yiwu in the east, in Zhejiang province. Tashkent is in Central Asia. By road the distance from either point exceeds 6,000 kilometres: the truck crosses China heading north-west and reaches the border through Xinjiang.
One truck covers that distance without a break in the chain. The cargo is never moved onto another vehicle in transit — that is what makes the transit time predictable.
Why two departure points
Guangzhou is a major manufacturing and trading centre in southern China: electronics, furniture, clothing, building materials. Yiwu is the world's largest small-commodity market — accessories, toys, stationery, household goods.
We run our own warehouse in both cities. Cargo goes to whichever is closer to your supplier, so you do not pay for unnecessary domestic haulage. Tariffs, transit times and terms are identical at both: Express 8–12, Standard 14–18, Economy 20–30 days.
The border is the stage that needs the most control
Depending on routing, the truck crosses at the China–Kazakhstan or the China–Kyrgyzstan border. The border is where more time is lost than anywhere else on the road: a single inconsistency in the paperwork can turn into several days.
That is why the document set is prepared while the cargo is still moving and is already checked by the time it arrives. A large part of the speed on the Express tariff is won at this stage.
Why only one corridor
A forwarder working across dozens of countries knows every route superficially. We chose the opposite: one corridor — China to Uzbekistan — where we know every border post, every partner and every seasonal bottleneck.
We have run this route since 2019 and delivered more than 500 shipments on time. Knowing a route means seeing a disruption coming and telling the client before it lands on them.

- Where does the truck stop along the way?
- At scheduled rest points and at border control. The cargo is not transshipped — it stays in the same truck from start to finish.
- Does winter extend the transit time?
- Weather and border congestion can affect it. In those cases your manager warns you in advance.
- Can I deliver cargo to the Yiwu warehouse?
- Yes. The Yiwu and Guangzhou warehouses work identically: same tariffs, same transit times, same service. You pick whichever is closer to your supplier — your manager provides the address.
- Do you deliver to other cities in Uzbekistan?
- Tashkent is the main delivery point. Delivery to other cities is agreed separately.
- Can I choose the routing myself?
- The routing is chosen for the best outcome given the commodity, the deadline and current border conditions. If you have a requirement, tell your manager.
